Tour description
The hot healing springs of Khoja-Sangkhok (61.40C) are located north of the city of Dushanbe (90 km) in the Varzob region in the rural jamoat of Zideh, which, with its encouraging and enchanting nature and favorable weather conditions, is very attractive for treatment, mountain tourism and mountaineering . The Khoja-Sangkhok spring is located at an altitude of more than 3000 meters.
The composition of the water is rich in minerals. It contains magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, iron and other substances that are used to treat stomach, liver and diabetes. In 1936, researchers B.A. Beder and R.I. Evseev visited the Khoja-Sangkhok source and gave a brief description of the conditions of release, flow rate, temperature and free carbon dioxide content. The author gives its full physical and chemical characteristics and in conclusion points out that in terms of its qualities, the sources of the Khoja-Sangkhok group are not inferior to Kislovodsk Narzan.
